From Outrage to Healing: Two Decades of Writing and Reflection

I've been publishing books since 2004. My first book, a political essay, was written 20 years ago (already) in a fit of anger. An unrealistic idealist, I began working for international organizations like the United Nations and the OSCE. There, I discovered internal corruption and injustice. I, who thought I was participating in organizations whose goal was to make the world a little more livable, found myself confronted by men (mostly) thirsty for political power and money. This first book was self-published.

These early experiences in the world of diplomacy and international politics prompted me to resume my studies in psychology. At the same time, I continued to be interested in esotericism and spirituality—everything that is hidden, that which we cannot see but which acts through us. This led me to transpersonal psychology, existential coaching, and spiritual intelligence, subjects on which I have published three books.

Questions about human nature

Through my studies and publications, I sought to understand the need for power in human beings, the acceptance of the violence that this generates and the notion of harm to others.

Many before me have sought, whether religions or philosophers, to understand the root of this attraction towards this feeling of omnipotence that political and financial power gives, this absence of awareness of the other, this recognition of evil as an indispensable means to exist. But is there anything to understand? Is it part of the ontological and animal aspect of the human being: the clan, the family, to dominate or disappear, or is it due to a personality? Does encountering evil have a meaning, that of sending us back to our own weakness and, by the same token, strengthening our compassion for the other, a mirror effect of ourselves?

There is always some truth in the questions we ask ourselves.

Writing as a Tool for Healing and Activism

My next book will deal with intergenerational healing of trauma following wars and exile, the healing of the individual or of peoples (and not of nations, the nation being only an ideological and political construct that divides peoples in order to better subjugate them).

Why these thoughts?

Because for twenty years, books have paved my life's path. From anger at a situation to trying to understand its psychological roots and now to the search for integration and healing. Writing helps us understand, gain perspective, and connect with other forms of thought.

In the meantime, I've also published two novels, with the same plot: a lonely woman facing a difficult situation and turning out to be much stronger than she thought. These novels celebrate courage, resilience, and life. They also address socio-political issues such as political corruption and the dangers of scientific progress without ethical reflection.

Because writing is not only a healing tool but also a form of activism.
