The quest for meaning and spiritual intelligence

Quête de sens et intelligence spirituelle

I am pleased to announce the release of my book “Quest for Meaning and Spiritual Intelligence” which you can purchase on this site

What is it?

Knowing yourself better, understanding your environment, and finally acting consciously and according to your own values in order to achieve balance and well-being—this is the purpose of this book. We have all dreamed at some point of changing our lives, of achieving what is important to us. I myself have done it twice in my life.

This book will give you the keys to knowing how to get there. It is designed as a journey, towards yourself and towards a life project that suits you. Drawing on scientific studies as well as ancient texts, it addresses topics as diverse as consciousness, spiritual intelligence, and life cycles. It is resolutely situated in a transpersonal perspective, the fourth force of psychology, aiming to integrate spirituality, interconnectedness, and self-transcendence.

On this occasion, I recorded a series of videos which you will find below.

Video 1 Introduction

Video 2 - Why look for meaning in your life?

Why search for the meaning of your life? Why not just live simply from day to day without asking questions? In this video, we will discuss the topics of existential emptiness (Frankl) and the importance of understanding your personality. An existential crisis is a transitional stage, not to be confused with a psychotic crisis.

In this video, I also explain how the satisfaction of needs, the search for happiness, and the process of individuation (Jung) contribute to the search for meaning. Finally, I will introduce the next video by showing you how to search for meaning in your life.

Video 3 – How to know yourself better

With this 3rd video, we're going to really get to the heart of the matter. I remind you the goal of these videos: to find meaning in your life or, in other words, to find a life project that suits you. To do this, you must follow certain steps: first, get to know yourself better, then understand your environment, withdraw (reconnect with yourself) and finally, act using (among other things) your spiritual intelligence.

Let's begin the first step; self-knowledge - How to know yourself better. Let me remind you of the conditions: you want to get out of a crisis or a malaise, you need to redefine your life project or you are asking yourself existential questions, and you don't know how to do it. The first step is self-knowledge. This is nothing new. Since ancient Greece, philosophers have never stopped repeating it.

First and foremost, you must learn to know yourself or refine your rough stone. Because you can be your best ally or your worst enemy. But knowing yourself takes time, courage, and willpower.

Video 4- Understanding evolutionary cycles

With this fourth video, we continue our journey. Let me remind you of the goal of this journey: to find your place in the world, or a project that suits you—in other words, to overcome an existential crisis.

In a previous video, I introduced you to tools that allow you to better understand yourself, such as astropsychology, Kabbalistic psychology, and transpersonal psychology. In this video, we'll focus on the laws of evolution.

These invisible laws that govern life cycles. The goal is to make you aware of the importance of taking a step back from the world around us and adopting a critical attitude, in the positive sense of the term, towards our environment. In other words, decoding our own vision of the world.

Video 5 - Withdraw to better find yourself

We've reached the halfway point of our journey. Let me remind you of its purpose. In a previous video, I shared with you the tools I found most effective, either for getting to know yourself better or for understanding where you are in your life cycle. During this stage, you collected information about yourself and your behaviors.

You have also learned to develop a critical attitude and to take a step back from the world around you.

During this step, we will see the benefits of withdrawal to access your subconscious.
I called this step: withdrawing to be better reborn to oneself: consciousness and subconscious because it will mainly be a question of accessing one's subconscious and expanding one's level of consciousness.

Video 6: Acting to develop your spiritual intelligence

There are several reasons for wanting to develop one's spiritual intelligence: resisting stress and burnout, finding meaning in one's life, strengthening one's inner balance and therefore communicating better, and changing the perspective on a situation or a person. In all cases, it's about expanding one's field of consciousness and finding meaning in a situation.

Spiritual intelligence enables us to establish the means by which we become more explicitly aware of our worldview, a broader, more holistic vision. This allows us to appropriate, accept, and integrate the ambiguities, contradictions, and paradoxes that both structure and maintain this vision.

We are therefore moving away from the search for perfection, which involved the stifling or negation of certain qualities, to that of the integration of our internal tensions. For this, we still need to know ourselves well, as has already been said, in order to have the inner strength to accept ourselves and evolve.
