Finding meaning in our existence: what we seek is already within us

Being yourself in action

A natural desire for meaning and fulfillment

Many of us are looking for more meaning and fulfillment in our lives.

We want to feel that our presence on earth matters, that we are part of something bigger, that we are living in harmony with a deep truth.

This desire is not proof that something is missing, but rather an invitation to recognize what is already there, in us and around us.

Everyone makes a unique contribution

Our presence here is no accident. Each of us arrives with something unique to offer the world. It's not something we have to conquer or deserve: it's already in us, always has been.

Freedom from powerlessness in a chaotic world

Yet in a world where chaos sometimes reigns, where war, violence and political dysfunction seem beyond our reach, it's easy to feel powerless. Even in our daily lives, we sometimes find ourselves stuck in exhausting jobs, relationships that don't reflect our true identity, or facing an uncertain future.

This feeling can make us feel powerless, but it's not real: it comes from conditioning. We've been taught to see ourselves as small, separate and limited, and so we forget our true nature.

We are interconnected with the world around us

Our very existence influences everything around us. We shape the world in ways both visible and invisible. As the philosopher Bernardo Kastrup describes us, we are like whirlpools in a river: distinct in form, but inseparable from the entire current. Just as a whirlpool cannot exist separately from water, we are never isolated from the living, interconnected flow of life.

So this deep intuition that things could - and should - be different is not just a dream, but a profound knowing. An inner certainty that life can be lived with more meaning, more authentic connection and truer purpose.

Acting from a peaceful inner space

Faced with this certainty, we often feel the urge to act. And indeed, action is essential. But it's just as crucial to know where we're acting from. Do our actions stem from fear, frustration, or judgment, or do they emanate from a deep recognition of what is truly possible?

If we want more love in the world, let's start by cultivating that love in our own lives. If we long for peace, let's start by finding peace within ourselves. If it's freedom we desire, let's first free ourselves from the beliefs that limit us.

Living your presence in the world to the full

This doesn't mean withdrawing from the world. On the contrary, it means engaging fully with it, aware that our presence, our choices, our conversations have a real impact. Our way of being resonates around us.

No law, no leader, no demonstration, no magic wand is going to create the future we want for us. And that's great news. The future is not something that happens to us, it's something we shape by the way we are in the world.

Start today, without waiting

We don't need to wait. We can start right now, by paying attention to what is calling us deeply, by listening to what we are invited to realize, by moving forward in the world not with fear, but with the deep certainty that we already belong to something much greater, always.

I accompany you in this inner exploration to identify and realize what drives you deeply.
